Many Autumn Bradley Jewelry pieces have a rustic/worn finish.   To maintain this look you may gently rub your piece with super-fine steel wool (grade #0000).  The pieces with a shine or luster may be lightly buffed with a jewelry polishing cloth.

Copper:  Over time, copper will tarnish as it is exposed to air.  Unfinished copper will change to peach, orange, and eventually settle to a warm brown patina.
The time this takes depends on factors such as frequency of wear, weather conditions, and skin chemistry.  For some, direct contact with copper may cause the skin to turn slightly green.  This is not harmful and can easily be washed off.  Copper jewelry should not be worn in the shower or pool as this will speed the tarnishing process.  You may use super-fine steel wool (grade #0000) to buff off the tarnish if desired.

Please be mindful of any stones or gems while cleaning.  Do not allow the steel wool or polishing cloth to come into contact with them as they may become damaged.  Also, please do not use steel wool or polishing cloths on any darkly patinaed recessed areas of your piece as this will remove the finish.  It may be possible that any accidental finish removal could be corrected for a small fee.  If this happens please contact us immediately.  All instances will be handled on a case by case basis.

It is not recommended that this jewelry be worn in the shower or pool.

Commercial liquid jewelry cleaners are not recommended.
